The Queendom of Ellesséa sits on a caldera in the ocean south of the main continent. It has been ruled over peacefully by Miraya for five thousand years, and is the only place left where magic is still used by the local population. Hidden by an ancient charm, it can only be found by Ellesséan people and its existence is somewhat disputed on the mainland, although most consider it a poorly kept secret.

The mainland suffers from a vast class divide, marred by poverty yet ruled over by a wealthy elite. Here, even the memory of magic has faded and none can wield it, though local legends tell of a mysterious woman who helps in times of hardship. If Miraya is to be believed, this land is under the dominion of a secret sect, who know of and despise magic and all who use it.
